January round up

Well, it’s been an interesting start to 2016! Thank you all so much for your ongoing support and welcome to all newcomers. We now, incredibly, have over 2,500 likes on Facebook and similar on Twitter. It’s happened so quickly, that we are only just announcing the winner in the prize draw for our page reaching 1,000 likes on Facebook! Well done to Gee Pitch, who won an SDGS mug.

If you’d like a mug yourself, or you might prefer a t-shirt, hoodie or something else, we now have a new online store for your delight and delectation. Click to access it here: http://www.redbubble.com/people/swgeeksquad/shop.
This came about following the design of our lovely, shiny new logo, which we really love.

Some of you will know that we have also recently introduced some new permanent features, such as our monthly recommend read and the already very popular Hotspot interview.

We would like to thank Gnash Comics and Lee O’Connor for featuring in our first ever hotspot interview in January. http://www.gnashcomics.co.uk

The February hotspot interview, with the very lovely and hugely talented Marc Ducrow, will be coming shortly. We are currently setting up an interview for a future Hotspot and although can’t yet say who it is, we’re very excited! Watch this space!

February sees the release of Deadpool and we will review this as soon as it’s out.

If you would like to contact us or have any ideas about other features you’d like to see, please email Bob at southdevongeeks@gmail.com.

Thank you all again for your amazing support. Don’t forget, share the love!

Bob #geeksquad
